Lost in Fantasia

Perhaps we can finally call it a year now. Oral Presentation is over, after nights of boredom by revising my script. Luckily I had The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult to keep me along, though I haven’t touch a novel for so long and I wondered why I decided to read one only now. Nevertheless, it’s still a great book but I’m far from finishing it..

A fateful morning where I spent 20 bucks and got worried for nothing. I hated that feeling, somehow so cheated. At least the presentation did enough justice though, and the questions given to me rocked totally. I felt contented at least, and hopefully even more when the results are released next year (:

I’ve been deciding on whether to change to another blog address, and maybe I think I would. Not now, but pretty soon I guess, though I have to continue with default WordPress designs which I hate. I want to design and code something D:

What could be worse when melody. won’t be continuing her singing career anymore. Sobs sobs :’(

How could I almost forget my once-per-week schedule ><

Anyway, I think Monday was a great day for all who came to my house :D We had that squash session in school before that where I supposedly had to lose to some Ah Boy, followed by interview sessions at my house. But I didn’t have much role in that except for my living room (rawr). Not to forget the pizzas, yayness.. (:

Perhaps this was a dreaded week for results. I could have done better for Physics and get that coveted A. As for Econs, I really don’t know what I can do about it anymore — I’ve tried my best for it, but its still that pathetic result :(

Somehow I just can’t wait for that attachment to come, get it and done over with, then go on some holiday escape. I really need one before the next year starts.

At least its better than resorting to some retail therapy which I did today.

Who doesn’t want to do that? And be that.

This week passed with a whole lot of time-wasting breaks and my dismal results for GP, below expectations for Maths and fairly well for Chemistry (: Let’s just hope the remaining tougher 2 for me would be alright ><

I had a great day outside (not with a service learning presentation early in the morning) looking for a laptop sleeve and screen protector, though I didn’t manage to get the latter due to my laptop’s unique screen size, which needs to be custom-made :D

“Burn After Reading” is a weird one. It is pretty comical, but the storyline isn’t distinct at all — it turned out completely random. Ok, but you’ve got a super funny Brad Pitt here and lots of witty conversations. Watch it if you’re feeling random (:

And I just wondered if everybody’s computer is equally unsafe — everytime I plug in my thumbdrive to transfer files from you guys, I receive a trojan notice.

Rawr.

Have you ever experienced the feeling of sudden realisation?

Unexpected. Smacked right into your face. Chain reaction.

You understood why the recent has been so unexplained, so you start throwing all the unanswered questions back at yourself again. Only to realise this single answer plonked perfectly into each and every connected thought, like jigsaw puzzle made of plasticine.

You realise you weren’t that all-i-know wannabe all along.

So enough of that cotton candy dreamland you thought you could believe in.

Sometimes it’s just so hard to see.

False pretence. Lies. Guessing games.

And we thought we knew each other well enough.

We try to make a change, make it stop, but it isn’t going to end like that.

Hmm.. The 1st week after promos. Had a pretty good sabbac where I get to play pool for 2 days ^^ Learnt some basics there, not any cool trick shots you may think though. And my table got 2nd for some competition on the 2nd day D:

Perhaps a word to sum up this week. — Heroes. Finally able to watch it after so long and I can only say its super cool (: But can’t say much for the second season onwards since sequels rarely turn as well as the original..

There are many ways to define our fragile existence; many ways to give it meaning. But it is our memories that shape its purpose and give it context.

Promos ended with a blast, knowing how much I have to do for Project Work in the upcoming weeks. So much for early submissions and being a good boy.

As usual, headed to town to chill out. Today as well, though we’ve been to the same place for the 2nd time this week. Maybe I’m going to make it a third tomorrow. *Self-applauses*

Watched Connected today after the pooling session, without a clue what kind of movie it was. Wouldn’t say it wasn’t up to standard, but I thought it could be better if it was less cheesy (especially the start). Action movies like this can be better. Nevertheless, it really makes me wonder how much will you do for someone you’ve never met before in life (:

Somehow I had this idea of changing my blog again. Be it in terms of design, server, etc. But this blog is barely 1 year old :(
